The Jewish Morning Journal, Jewish daily newspaper published in New York City, has been sold to Morris Cohen, New York philanthropist and communal worker, it was announced today.
Cohen, who will act as chairman of the board, has appointed Dr. Bernard Bergman editor and publisher. Dr. Bergman, author of numerous articles in Jewish and British, has been rabbi of the Home of the Sons and Daughters of Israel for the past 12 years.
