A gift of $1,000,000 from Jack A. Goldfarb of New York was announced here yesterday by Brandeis University. The money is to be used toward the construction of a 750,000 volume library embodying the latest principles in library architecture. The library will receive $300,000 annually from the National Women’s Committee of Brandeis University, an organization of 50,000 women which is pledged to maintain the library.
