A radio course in conversational Yiddish will be broadcast four times weekly over Radio Station WEVD in New York, the Workmen’s Circle, its sponsor jointly with the station, announced today. The Yiddish lessons will be given nightly, Monday through Thursday at 8:45 PM beginning Jan. 12. The course will be conducted by Wolf and Sylvia Younin. It is believed to be the first such course ever presented by an American radio station.
