A special emergency three-day telephone campaign to rush aid to the homeless Jews of Mazagan in Morocco, scene of bloody rioting last week, was opened here today by the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York. The all-day telephone solicitations were handled by more than 150 of the city’s leading ##sinessmen. Mayor Robert F. Wagner and General Lucius D.
