A warrant was issued here today for the arrest of George Rockwell, self-styled leader of the “American Nazi Party,” on charges of disorderly conduct and inciting to riot. The warrant was issued by Kings County Supreme Court Justice Louis Friedman on a complaint signed by Lester Fahn, a member of the Jewish War Veterans of New York.
Mr. Fahn’s complaint was based on the incident in the New York County Supreme Court building here last week when Rockwell was nearly mobbed by some 150 persons after making anti-Semitic remarks during a television interview outside the courtroom. Rockwell is subject to arrest on the warrant whenever he enters New York State. (Earlier story on page 4.)
