More than $1, 200, 000 was raised by the Women’s Division of the United Jewish Appeal of Greater New York at five simultaneous luncheons hold here today inaugurating the 1960 UJA campaign. The total represented a $200, 000 increase over the amount raised at last year’s inaugural affairs. More than 1, 400 women attended today’s luncheons.
