Women’s contributions to the 1956-57 campaign of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York reached the all-time high figure of $2,343,083, it was announced today by Mrs. Leonard H. Bernheim, chairman of the Women’s Division Board, at the Board’s 35th annual meeting. The campaign funds were obtained from 43,355 women throughout Greater New York, an increase of some 10,000 gifts over last year.
