A resolution hailing the unification of Jerusalem was unanimously adopted at the concluding session of the 24th annual convention of the Manhattan Region of the Zionist Organization of America.
Abraham Salomon was named for a third term as president of the region. Other officers elected were Fred H. Diamond, chairman of the executive board, and Rabbi Steven Riskin, chairman of the administrative committee. More than 200 delegates from 16 Zionists districts in the Manhattan area attended the convention.
