More than seventy percent of 14,000 members of the New Zionist Organization in Palestine, South Africa, England and the Jewish Brigade have voted in favor of participating in the elections to the forthcoming Zionist Congress, it was announced here today.
This actually means the return of the New Zionist Organization to the fold of the World Zionist Organization from which it seceded in 1935 under the leadership of the late Vladimir Jabotinsky. However, the final decision will be reached in London after the central committee of the organization meets there with leaders of the World Zionist Executive and discusses the terms under which such a return can officially be brought about.
