The provisional world executive of the New Zionist Organization today announced that the organization will participate in the elections of the forthcoming World Zionist Congress.
The announcement amounts to the return of the New Zionist Organization, formed by Vladimir Jabotinsky, to the fold of the World Zionist Organization which the Revisionists left in 1935. In a statement explaining its decision to participate in the Congress elections, the N.Z.O. executive stressed that “the Jewish people have now reached the supreme crisis in its history,” and added that “in this hour of national emergency, when Zionists of all shades are at last united on the basic demand for a Jewish State, it is the patriotic duty to present to the world a strong united Zionist Organization.”
