The board of directors of Oheb Shalom Synagogue will probably consider action pertaining to the proposed merger with Temple B’nai Abraham, at their regular meeting next month, Samuel Schechner, president of the former institution intimated last night.
Mr. Schechner denied that anything concrete in the way of amalgamation was accomplished Monday at a conference of representatives of both edifices.
“There is nothing to it as yet,” he declared. “Any talk pertaining to it comes from individuals. If we decide to do anything about it then our board will consider it next month.”
