The Newark section, Council of Jewish Women, is undertaking what is being regarded as a very constructive activity, namely the establishment of a Bureau of Vocational Guidance and Placement, the need for which was shown by a survey recently conducted by several Jewish organizations. According to the announcement, the Council, through its own initiative, has managed to raise sufficient funds to establish such a bureau. A special committee will assist a trained worker in advising young people seeking employment and in helping them obtain work for which they are best suited, both by choice and training.
