Newark Synagogue Plans Erection of $125,000 Building

In celebrating its fiftieth anniversary here, Congregation Anshe Russia, one of the foremost orthodox units in the State, announced plans for the erection of a new $125,000 house of worship with a seating capacity of about 2,200. The building will have a seating capacity of about 2,200. The building will have recreational facilities as well as other conveniences.

Among the speakers at the anniversary dinner were Rabbi Hyman Brodsky, spiritual leader emeritus and Rabbi Joseph Konvitz, president of the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States and Canada.
