A campaign for $30,000 will be launched in Newark, New Jersey, on April 1. The money will go toward the fund which the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society of America is raising.
At a meeting of the Conference of Jewish Charities of Newark, the campaign was endorsed. Among those present at the meeting were Oscar L. Weingarten, President, Felix Fuld, Mrs. Leah Frank-Siegal and Samuel P. Leiber.
Dr. R. Kornblith and Samuel Leibowitz will conduct the campaign with the cooperation of the local committee.
