Twenty Latin American scientists have completed a three month food-technology course at the Haifa Technion, it was announced today. The course was sponsored jointly by the Organization of American States and the international cooperation department of the Israel Foreign Ministry and was conducted by the Technion’s food and bio-chemistry department. The participants were chemists, pharmacists and chemical engineers from Bolivia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru.
