Rabbi Ezra C. Gotthelf of Brith Sholom Synagogue and director of the Erie Hebrew Institute for the past two years, will leave late this week to accept a post from an important Eastern congregation. He was honored at a farewell reception given in the synagogue. Charles Silver, president of the Institute, presented him with a gold watch in behalf of the congregation.
