David E. Heineman, prominent in Detroit civic and political circles, is dead here at the age of 70. He had been a member of the Michigan Legislature, a City Alderman, assistant corporation counsel and controller. He helped establish the Detroit Institute of Art.
Word has been received here of the death of Selig Solomon, pioneer Detroit and AuSable, Mich., resident. He died at the age of 88 in Los Angeles. He was mayor of AuSable in 1892.
Samuel Willis, attorney, has been appointed to the committee of the American Bar Association which is to acquire portraits of all Justices of the United States Supreme Court since its inception for permanent display in the new Supreme Court Building in Washington.
