Sweeping revision of high school text books of Texas was demanded by Rabbi Ephraim of Temple Beth-El, San Antonio, protesting derogatory references to the Jews in school books, before the State Board of Education here. Representatives of national publishing houses, who attended the session, agreed to take immediate action in changing the troublesome references. Rabbi Frisch acted as spokesman for the Kallah, statewide association of Texas rabbis.
