Retirement of Aaron Horovitz after five years as Mayor of Cornwall was indicated at the municipal nomination meeting today when he proposed the nomination of a colleague for the Mayoralty in 1935. Mr. Horovitz was the first Jew to be elected Mayor of an Ontario city. He has held office for five terms, three of which were accorded him by acclamation.
