Two orthodox synagogues will mark their anniversaries here next month. Beth Israel Synagogue will observe its fiftieth year from February 8 to 10 and Congregation Anshe Sfard will hold a fortieth year fete on February 3.
Mrs. Ida Eisler. 65, a founder of the Jewish Orphans Home and president of the Jewish Sheltering Home, died at her home here after a three weeks’ illness.
