THE ATTACK WAS ONE OF A SERIES OF NIGHTLY INVASIONS WHICH HAS REDUCED POZNAN’S JEWISH COMMUNITY OF 500 FAMILIES TO DESPERATION. EVERY EVENING THE ANTI-SEMITES ROAM THE STREETS BEATING JEWISH PASSERS-BY, WHILE ENDEKS DAUB THE WORD “JEW” ON JEWISH SHOPS WITH IRREMOVABLE PAINT.
THE JUVENILE VICTIMS OF THE KNIFE GANG WERE A 13-YEAR-OLD CHILD NAMED DUNKELMAN AND A 15-YEAR-OLD NAMED RAPOPORT. A 45-YEAR-OLD TAILOR FROM THE CITY OF LODZ, NAMED PASTERNAK, WAS ALSO AMONG THE INJURED.
