Nine Israeli Arabs of the Um El Fahem village near the Jordanian border, who were arrested last week on charges of being members of a Jordanian espionage ring, will go on trial tomorrow in Haifa district court.
The indictment charges that they gathered material involving security matters and delivered it to Jordanian authorities. According to the indictment, this material included reports on army movements, films of secret army installations and similar information. Conviction could subject the defendants to life imprisonment.
