The Egyptian police have arrested nine men and four women charged with “Zionist and Communist” activities, it was reported here from Alexandria this week-end.
At the same time, the Turkish Association for Tourism announced that Egypt has granted permission for Turkish Jews to visit the Arab state as tourists. The Association also revealed that it expects Syria and Lebanon to follow suit in admitting Turkish Jewish tourists.
