Ninety Chaluzim, members of the Zeire Zion Party, and also members of the academic youth associations Kadima and Hechover, were arrested in Minsk today. These arrests were made at the instigation of the Jewish section of the Communist Party.
It is believed here that after the conference of the Jewish sections of the Communist Party, convening in Minsk, is over, a new period of persecution against the Jewish national movement, particularly against the Zionist, will be commenced in Soviet Russia, in accordance with resolutions adopted by the conference. More arrests are expected.
