Following the order to Berlin municipal institutions not to buy from or pay Jewish shoemakers for shoes and repair work, is the order announced in Der Angriff to welfare institutions in the city not to buy clothing from Jewish tailors and firms nor materials for making clothes for the poor.

The municipal economic committee has resolved that, in the future, it will order clothing for recipients of municipal relief only from Aryan firms. The committee does not desire, it explained, to “support Jewish swindlers supplying inferior goods”.
