The Polish government has obtained an international loan without recourse to any Jewish bankers, the Minister of Finance, Kucharski, declared in an interview with press representatives here.
While he did not desire to hurt the susceptibilities of any people, Kucharski declared he felt it was necessary in order to refute rumors to add that a loan had been obtained from the Morgan group which “in all its branches, London, Paris and New York, had nothing in common with any Jewish financiers”.
The London Rothschilds had not even been approached, he continued.
According to rumors current here, the firm of J.P. Morgan in giving the loan stipulated that Poland quit her Jew-baiting. This rumor, however cannot be confirmed.
