No displaced persons have been admitted to International Refugee Organization camps in Italy since the first of the year, except for those who enter special camps from which they ombark almost immediately for overseas resettlement. This new situation will have little effect on Jews since there are few displaced Jews in Italy except those awaiting transfer to Israel.
