“There is no longer a Jewish problem in Holland,” Anton Mussert, the Dutch Nazi leader, reported today at a press conference in Berlin. He boasted that “more than 150,000 Jews have been deported from Holland.” His address was quoted by the Berlin radio.
Neutral travelers arriving here today from the Czech Protectorate report that the German authorities there have resumed deportation of Jews from the fortress city of Terezin to unknown destinations. They estimate that at least 3,000 Jews have been transported each month from Terezin during the last two months. Most of them are Jews from Berlin, Vienna and Prague who had been interned in Terezin for many months.
