There was no official Israeli reaction to the death of the former Shah of Iran in Cairo today. But Interior Minister Yosef Burg expressed regrets and said he was sorry the deposed Shah had got died in his homeland. The Shah, who had been friendly toward Israel, died in a Cairo hospital at the age of 60 of side effects brought about by cancer for which he had been undergoing treatment for the past six years. His death come 18 months after fleeing the Islamic revolution that swept his country.
