Every Jewish student who will bring a letter from a rabbi stating that he attended religious services on Rosh Hashonah will be allow to register for the evening courses of City College after the High Holy Days, President Robinson of City College informed a committee of the Rabbinical Board this week.
The committee, which consisted of Rabbi L. Predmesky of the Tremont Talmud Torah, Rabbi Solomon Reichman of the Bronx Y. M. H. A., and Rabbi J. N. Charlop of the Bronx Jewish Center, visited Dr. Robinson and called his attention to the fact that Jewish students will be unable to register for the evening courses because of the fact that registration for those courses begins on the evening of September 23rd, which is the eve of the Jewish New Year.
