Germans stripped of citizenship for conducting anti-Nazi activities will also be deprived of university degrees obtained in the Reich, according to an order by Education Minister Bernhard Rust. The order does not apply to Jews and “non-Aryans.”

All Germans “who have proved themselves unworthy of their people” will lose doctors’ degrees, the decree states, but it does not apply to those lowered to second-class citizenship under Nazi legislation.
