Non-jews Fail to Seek Entry to Hungarian Medical Schools

Despite the law restricting the proportion of Jewish medical students to 6 per cent there has been a sharp drop in applications of Christians for admission to the Budapest University medical school, reports the student newspaper Fiatalok, which attributes the waning interest in medicine to poor compensation for doctors and the availability of lucrative jobs in industry and business as a result of the elimination of Jews.
