North American’s first Hebrew language daily newspaper will commence publication in New York next October if the plans of a group of Americans and Israelis who are financing the project materialize. The tabloid-size paper, to be called “The Israel Daily Herald” will appear Sundays through Fridays in major cities in the United States and Canada where there are heavy concentrations of Jews and Israelis.
