The danger of a Schechita prohibition in Norway was removed by the vote cast by Prime Minister Lykko at a meeting of the cabinet yesterday.
The cabinet decided by a vote of 5 to 4 to request the King to grant exemptions from the law making it compulsory to stun animals before slaughtering.
