“Arbsterbladet,” the official newspaper of the Norwegian Labor Party, has launched a drive to raise money for a new settlement in Israel to commemorate the 28 Jewish children and six adults who were killed in an air crash near here last month. The settlement will consist of 40 houses.
Norwegian unions have already agreed to raise the money by contributing the wages of workers who will work overtime for the project. The funds for ten of the buildings have already been raised. It is estimated that they will cost about $8,500 each.

He said that Norwegian labor will erect a 40-house village in Israel in memory of the Jewish children killed in the plane disaster Nov. 20. A central educational building will be named for the Norwegian teacher Lisa Janssen who died in the same accident.)
