Great Britain’s handling of the Palestine mandate was severely criticized today before the political commission of the League of Nations Assembly by Dr. C. L. Lange, Norwegian representative to the Mandates Commission.
Earlier Titus Komarnicki of Poland expressed the hope that England would maintain the Jewish national home policy in Palestine and announced that his government would make proposals for other steps dealing with the Jewish problem in Eastern Europe.
Urging immediate convocation of the Mandates Commission, Dr. Lange asserted that the Holy Land had become a prey of extremists and expressed astonishment that the government had not suppressed the disorders.
