Olav Gjaervoll, Norway’s Social Affairs Minister, arrived in Israel today after touring the refugee camps in neighboring Arab countries, and said that “time will solve the refugee problem.”
He reported that, with the exception of the refugees in the Gaza Strip, residents of the refugee camps were being absorbed into the host countries. His ministry is responsible for Norway’s contribution to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which provides aid for the refugees.
