Prof. Albert Einstein, Mayor LaGuardia, and a number of world-famous musicians now in the United States, including Serge Kussevitsky, Walter Damrosh, Yehudi Menuhin, Joseph Szigeti and Arthur Schnable, today cabled greetings to the Palestine Conservatoire of Music in Jerusalem on the occasion of the first graduation exercises of its Academy today.
The graduation ceremonies were to be attended by representatives of the Palestine Government, and Dr. Judah L. Magnes of the Hebrew University was scheduled to deliver the principal address. Lady MacMichael, wife of Palestine High Commissioner was to distribute the diplomas, according to Dr. Emil Hauser, director of the Palestine Conservatoire, who is in the United States for a short visit.
