An independent Arab government for Palestine is the minimum that will satisfy Arab aspirations, Musa Kazim Pasha, Chairman of the Palestine Arab Executive, declared in an interview with the Palestine Telegraphic Agency on the eve of his departure for London where he will strive for British recognition.
“We shall persist in our demands”, said Musa Kazim, “and cannot renounce anything. If England wants an understanding with us. it must establish a national constitutional independent government.”
“King Hussein of Hejjaz will never sign the present text of the Arab treaty”, he declared, adding that none of the Arabs nominated for the Palestine Advisory Council will accept nomination.
