The number of Hungarian Jewish refugees registered with the Joint Distribution Committee and the local Jewish community has jumped to 8. 100 and the end is not in sight. There are some 6, 600 in this city alone, being cared for by the staffs of the community and JDC workers assembled from half a dozen European countries.
Meanwhile, Jewish refugees began moving into new quarters at Bad Kreuzen. The facilities had been turned over to the JDC by the Norwegian-Hungarian Relief Society. It will house 1, 000 Jews.
