A course in Hebrew language and literature will be given by Abraham I. Katsh during the Spring semester at the Washington Square College of New York University. Comprising twelve lectures, starting February 4 and ending April 22, the course is designed to meet the needs of students who are interested in Hebrew, but are unable to read, write or speak the language.
In announcing the course, New York University calls attention to the fact that the teaching of Hebrew is not an innovation but a return to an old American tradition.
Classes will meet on Monday evenings from 8 to 9:20 o’clock.
