The tenth annual campaign of the United Jewish Welfare Fund of Oakland will be held in late August according to announcement of Michael Grodin, who was reelected president of the organization at its ninth annual meeting. Jack J. Block, local merchant, was selected to head the campaign organization. He will undertake to raise $25,000 for the needs of forty-two local, national, and overseas agencies.
