Octavian Goga. Roumanian poet and Minister of the Interior in the former Averescu government, was the mainstay of the anti-Semitic agitators responsible for the excesses against Jews during the lifetime of the extinct government.
This disclosure was made by a member of the former cabinet, whose name is not given, according to a report published today by the Roumanian newspaper, “Lupta”.
The newspaper quotes the Roumanian statesman as saying that “Goga was behind all anti-Semitic disturbances. He supported the anti-Semitic groups with secret funds.”
