Jewish leaders here have turned over to authorities information which they say proves previously received reports that copies of “The Silver Ranger,” Nazi publication, have been distributed among the students of Modesto Junior College, which is maintained as a step between high school and the university.
First reports several weeks ago were to the effect that distribution was being made by a son of the Silver Shirt leader in this vicinity. It was stated that he was passing the papers about indiscriminately among the college students.
Jewish leaders, in presenting their facts to authorities for action, now claim to have verified these reports.
