Official Saudi textbooks teach children to hate the West, Christians and Jews, according to a new report. “Despite Saudi government statements to the West promoting unity, friendship and tolerance, the report clearly demonstrates a disturbing pattern of hateful language that is pervasive in official textbooks published by the Saudi Ministry of Education,” said David Harris, executive director of the American Jewish Committee. The study, released by the AJCommittee and the Center for Monitoring the Impact of Peace, is available at www.ajc.org.
