The “Zionist Review,” the organ of the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland, in an editorial extends “hearty congratulations to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency on its twenty-fifth anniversary.”
“It has played an important part in Jewish life, keeping Jewish community and the world at large informed by cable about Jewish affairs,” the Journal continues. “It has helped to bind Jews of various countries and continents together and to react unitedly to events of urgency. When Jewish history of the last quarter of a century comes to be written, the part played by the JTA will not be forgotten.
“We should like to pay special tribute to the London office of the JTA, which has worked under the most difficult conditions of war and ‘blitz’ and has proved its journalistic ability to cope with the special requirements of the present situation,” the “Zionist Review” concludes.
