Rabbi William Margolis, youthful head of the congregation, preaching an anniversary sermon at the Synagogue, inaugurated the celebration yesterday. It ends tonight with a banquet at the Hotel Astor which will be attended by civic and national leaders, as well as those connected with the Synagogue.
