Representatives of local community relations advisory councils throughout Ohio and state representatives of national organizations in the field of community relations and defense concluded a two-day meeting here last night under the sponsorship of the Jewish Community Relations Committee of Cincinnati.
Delegates discussed current Ohio church-state issues such as increased efforts to introduce sectarianism in the public schools, released time and Sunday closing laws. In addition, the delegates considered the civil liberties implications of film censorship and campaigns against obscene literature and reviewed prospects for the enactment of fair employment practices legislation.
In Columbus, yesterday, supporters of FEPC legislation held a rally to underline their support of outlawing of prejudice in employment.
