Rabbi Joseph Blatt, spiritual leader of Congregation B’nai Israel of this city who is this year completing his twenty-fifth year of service to this Reform congregation, was elected Rabbi for life at the annual meeting of the Congregation last Sunday. Rabbi Blatt came here a quarter of a century ago when the present state of Oklahoma was still Indian Territory and Oklahoma City had a population of not more than 15,000.
Sam Herman was elected president of the Congregation for the coming year; Max Rosenfield, vice-president; M. Glaber, secretary; and Robert Fisher, treasurer.
