The seniority rights and other benefits accumulated by Arab civil servants in East Jerusalem under the former Jordanian administration will be credited to them by the Jerusalem municipality, the Jerusalem Civil Servants Union announced. East Jerusalem civil servants who join Histadrut, Israel’s labor federation, will be eligible for election to the Civil Servants Union when balloting is held next March.
